Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a compelling speech to the US Congress today, emphasizing the importance of the US-Israel alliance.

He addressed the congress with a defiant tone, emphasizing the mutual security concerns that bind the two nations, with a particular focus on the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

He stated the need for continued cooperation between Israel and the US to ensure vigilance against potential threats, “… when we stand together, something very simple happens: We win, they lose.”

Netanyahu’s speech was met with mixed reactions. Supporters lauded his firm stance on security issues. He revealed his plans and visions for Gaza after the win: “My vision for that day is of a demilitarized and de-radicalized Gaza,” he said. “Israel does not seek to resettle Gaza, but for the foreseeable future, we must retain overriding security control there to prevent the resurgence of terror, to ensure that Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel.”

He also said, “The war will end tomorrow if Hamas releases Israeli’s hostages…“

Netanyahu stated that Israel will continue its military operations in Gaza “until we destroy Hamas’ military capabilities and its rule in Gaza, and bring all our hostages home.” Notwithstanding propaganda from Hamas and pressure from those who believe their propaganda. “We will settle for nothing less,” Netanyahu declared.

He requested for more tools from the US to finish the war. Stating that Israel is not just fighting for the State of Israel but fighting for America and peace in the world because the enemy, Iran, and its allies, if not conquered will become threats to other countries. Listen to the full speech.

Netanyahu and President Joe Biden will meet at the White House on Thursday to speak with US families of hostages still held in Gaza.

However, there was a report of a crowd of Pro-Palestinian protesters outside the US Capitol.
