Eedris Abdulkareem’s kidney transplant successful

Well-known Nigerian musician Eedris Abdulkareem has taken a large step in the direction of full restoration.

The singer has efficiently undergone a kidney transplant.

The kidney for the transplant, which came about early this morning(Monday), was donated to the ailing rapper by his spouse, Yetunde.

Making the announcement, the singer’s supervisor, Mike Pam, expressed thanks and appreciation to all well-meaning Nigerians, each at house and within the diaspora.

In a publish on his Fb web page, Mr Pam appreciated the artiste’s followers from throughout the globe “who prayed for, cared for, reached out to and supported this glorious couple throughout this well being disaster.”

Therapeutic begins

Background

Early in June, the well-known rapper and rights activist went public about his kidney failure analysis on his official social media pages.

He then commenced his weekly kidney dialysis in a personal medical facility in Lagos. Weeks later, the well-known hip-hop act revealed that his spouse, Yetunde, is his kidney donor.

Abdulkareem informed this at Freedom Vibes 6.0, a colloquium organised in his honour at Freedom Park, Lagos.

He mentioned: “I’m shouting to my spouse. I’m speaking concerning the first time we went to see our physician; the physician mentioned they don’t encourage kidney harvesting, promoting of kidneys and all that, that the donor needs to be a member of the family, a buddy, you already know; whether or not your daughter or your brother or your son, you already know.”
