The Promoting Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) has banned using international voice-over artists and fashions from Saturday, October 1.

ARCON director-general Olalekan Fadolapo in an announcement mentioned the ban is according to the Federal Authorities’s coverage to develop native expertise and inclusive financial progress for sectors of the nation, together with promoting.

“ARCON, being the apex promoting, commercial and advertising communications’ regulatory company of the Federal Authorities, has in accordance with its statutory mandates, duties and powers as conveyed by the Promoting Regulatory Council of Nigeria Act No. 23 of 2022 bans using international fashions and voice-over artists on any commercial focused of uncovered on the Nigerian promoting area with impact from Ist October 2022,” Fadolapo mentioned.
