NCS to Play Key Role in 2025 Budget Goals

This recruitment follows a recent announcement during the NCS’s 61st quarterly board meeting in Abuja, where it was disclosed that the agency had secured approval for the new hires. The move aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ambitious 2025 budget, tagged the “Budget of Restoration,” which targets N48 trillion in expenditures and N35 trillion in revenue.

Having already generated over N5 trillion in revenue by November 2024, the NCS is expected to play a critical role in meeting the budget goals. This recruitment drive aims to ensure the Service is adequately staffed to maximise its efficiency and effectiveness.

Beware of Scammers

The NCS has issued a stern warning to applicants to be vigilant against fraudsters seeking to exploit the recruitment exercise. “Do not fall victim to scammers who claim to facilitate the process for a fee. All applications are strictly processed on our official portal,” the Service reiterated.

A Milestone for Revenue Collection Agencies

The NCS recruitment announcement follows a similar move by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), which recently began recruiting officers as part of the government’s broader efforts to strengthen revenue-collecting agencies.

Eligible Nigerians are encouraged to seize this opportunity to contribute to the nation’s economic recovery. Applications are only open for a limited time, so interested individuals are advised to act promptly.
