Manchester City will kick off their Premier League title defense with an away game against Chelsea on August 18. This match will see Pep Guardiola face his former assistant Enzo Maresca, who recently became Chelsea’s manager after leading Leicester to promotion.

The season’s opening game on August 16 will feature FA Cup winners Manchester United hosting Fulham at Old Trafford.

On August 17, newly promoted Ipswich Town, returning to the Premier League after 22 years, will host Liverpool’s new manager Arne Slot, who succeeds the long-serving Jurgen Klopp.

Leicester City, also newly promoted and still searching for Maresca’s replacement, will host Tottenham on August 19. Brighton, under new manager Fabian Hurzeler, will start their campaign away at Everton, while new West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui will welcome Aston Villa. Arsenal, last season’s runners-up, will host Wolves.
