Lekki residents kick against Lagos State’s plan to construct ferry terminal

Residents of Lekki Part 1, Lagos, have kicked towards plans by the Lagos State authorities to assemble a ferry terminal within the space.

The Chairman of the Lekki Residents Affiliation (LERA), Yomi Idowu, instructed the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos that the federal government had not knowledgeable it formally the place the terminal can be sited.

An official of the corporate, Tunji Solana mentioned the ferry terminal, belonging to Lagos State Ministry of Transportation can be sited on Admiralty Method waterfront in Lekki Part 1.

Mr Solana mentioned the terminal would facilitate marine transportation for residents of Lekki, Ajah, Igbo Efon, Ikota, Awoyaya, Lakowe, Sangotedo and its environs.
