South African had their good time more in the first half which led to their goal by Themba Zwane 29 minutes into the game. 37 minutes into the commencement of 2nd half Dele Bashiru equalized for Nigeria. Nigeria came back in full force but all their efforts couldn’t yield another goal. The match ended 1-1 90 minutes plus 5 minutes additional extra time.
This score line means Nigeria now occupies fifth place in their group C of six teams after three matches. The team has drawn all three of their matches in the 10-match qualifying competition.
