The Super Eagles of Nigeria have officially qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), even with one game remaining in their qualification journey.

Libya, at the bottom of Group D shocked many by beating Rwanda 1-0 in Kigali. With this upset, Nigeria has booked their ticket to the finals as Rwanda sits five points adrift of the Super Eagles with just one match remaining on the schedule.

Super Eagles struggled to end their match with Benin Republic 1-1 yesterday. They are sitting first in the group after five matches with 11 points total. Leaving Benin Republic behind on seven points, Rwanda is stuck on five and in the last place is Libya with four points.

Benin Republic needs to defeat Libya and prays that Nigeria defeats Rwanda in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Super Eagles next and final match for AFCON 2025 Qualifiers.
